Message From Marian

Greetings Church Family,

I hope that the first few days of 2018 have been a blessing to you and your families. I can’t wait to see all of you this weekend when Pastor Dan will be continuing his sermon series with a message entitled, Persevering Through Discouragement.  Come prepared for praise, worship, and fellowship this weekend.

Immediately following the service, please join us in the fellowship hall for Finger Food Potluck. Bring some finger food to share, such as small sandwiches, cheese buns, wraps, cake, cookies, fruit, vegetables, or chips. Bring them sliced, plated and ready to put on the table (no food that requires heating up please, as we will have a minimal kitchen crew).

As we transition from 2017 into 2018, I will be issuing tax receipts for tithes and offerings that were made before December 31. If your address has changed or will be changing, please be sure to let me know. These receipts will be issued and placed in your church mailbox for Sabbath, February 10. If you are a regular attendee and don’t have a church mailbox yet, just let me know and I’ll be sure to get you set up with one.

Finally, we have two very special items that I wanted to highlight today. The first is, Breakfast at Church. If you haven’t yet joined us for breakfast, you won’t want to miss out on January 20. From 9:00am – 10:00am that morning join us for great food and fellowship followed by Bible study in the Fireside room. Bring your family and friends! Secondly, January 20 is also our next Take Them Home Sabbath. We feed you for breakfast, and then you feed visitors and friends for lunch.

Plan now to invite someone home for lunch to share a meal, fellowship, and blessings.

Until next week. . .

Blessings,
